Sequence of publication

The journal Socio-Economic Analyses publishes original scientific research papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. After receipt, the originality and authenticity of the submission are checked using StrikePlagiarism.com (up to 15% matching is permitted). The submission then undergoes a double-blind anonymous peer review procedure. The Editorial Board decides whether to publish based on the reviewers' opinions. During the evaluation process, reviewers complete a review form (see mock-up: http://journals.uni-vt.bg/sia/bul/ar.aspx ), providing a clear opinion on whether the proposed manuscript should be rejected or accepted (without corrections, with necessary corrections or following a re-review after recommended corrections have been made).

If one of the two reviewers rejects the manuscript, it is submitted to an arbitrator for evaluation, whose positive assessment is necessary for the procedure to continue. The editorial board makes the final decision on acceptance for publication. The editors also have the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet the aforementioned criteria or are not in line with the journal's objectives. The Editorial Board is not responsible for errors made by the authors. PhD students' manuscripts should be accompanied by a written recommendation from their academic supervisor.
