The Yavorov’s play “When thunder strikes, how the echo fades” occupies an important place in the development of the Bulgarian literature and theater from the first decade of the XX-th century. The text is an author’s experiment with the artistic possibilities of the drama as a genre. With its unconventional composition, as well as with the overall organization of the personality system, the conflicts and the dialogue, the play continues the dynamic processes in the direction of creating the modern subjectivity.
