Abstract:

The main role of sport in higher education is to support the learning process by maintaining a high level of physical and mental performance and by contributing to the successful realization of young people in the future. In recent years, there has been a tendency for students to show increased interest in extreme and non-traditional sports, which provide not only physical exertion but also an opportunity for mental and emotional development. Among them, sport climbing occupies a special place. Studies show that regular practice of this sport leads to a decrease in stress and anxiety levels, improved concentration, and increased mental resilience. The present study aims to analyze the impact of sport climbing on various aspects of the physical and mental state of students.
