Abstract:
The transition to menopause is marked by significant changes in women’s body composition, particularly regarding fat distribution and muscle mass. Discomfort from physiological changes, lack of awareness, and the influence of modern trends and online misinformation drive many women to adopt extreme measures, such as fasting, drastic dietary restrictions, elimination of entire food groups, or excessively intense workouts. By examining changes in body circumferences, body fat percentage, and lean muscle mass, this study aims to provide insights into more effective approaches for managing body composition in women aged 40–55. The research methods include anthropometric testing, surveys, body composition assessment, and statistical analysis. Results indicate that the applied author-developed program leads to statistically significant improvements in anthropometric indicators among women in this age group. Monitoring and systematizing the anthropometric changes facilitates effective oversight of the program’s implementation.
