Abstract:

The scientific problem presented is the insufficient research on the management of basketball clubs in the country, especially nowadays. The purpose of the research is to study the current state of the management of basketball sports clubs in Bulgaria. Research methods applied – survey method, frequency analysis, content analysis. Results and discussion: the problems are related to the selection of coaching staff and young basketball players, insufficient funding from the state and municipalities, limited availability of facilities and regular seminars for coaches both in Bulgaria and abroad.
