Career Choice – Physical Education and Sports Teacher

Abstract:

This study aims to identify the factors influencing the choice of profession as a Physical Education and Sports Teacher, as well as the degree of satisfaction among students pursuing this career path. The paper presents a theoretical analysis and empirical research based on a survey of students majoring in Pedagogy of Physical Education. The survey included 86 distance-learning students from the 1st to the 4th year of study. The findings indicate that the profession of Physical Education and Sports Teacher is highly attractive and desirable among young people, with many choosing it immediately after completing secondary education. Students expressed a high level of satisfaction with their career choice and highlighted a set of personal qualities they believe contribute to successful professional fulfillment.
