The Italian architect Riccardo Toscani and his contribution to the appearance of Burgas

Abstract:

Riccardo Toscani is an Italian who lived for many years in Burgas, where he worked as an architect from 1895. His work includes the designs of some of the most emblematic buildings in the old part of the city, both resi dential and the cathedral “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, a hotel, a cinema, the boarding school of the girls’ school with the Catholic chapel “St. Joseph”, the building of the “Petya Dubarova” museum, etc. To a large extent, the change in the architectural appearance of the central part of Burgas is his work.
