Abstract:
The presentation clarifies the main aspects of the penal policy conducted by the Totalitarian state against persons accused of persecuting participants in the resistance organized by the Communist Party during the period 1923 – 1944. It presents the legal framework that underpins the ju dicial practice and reveals the influence of the Bulgarian Communist Party in the creation of penal legislation and the activities of the judicial system.
