Abstract:

The article traces the processes related to the development of the staff that provides the teaching of modern and contemporary Bulgarian history at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo from its establishment to the present day. The presentation addresses the issues related to the creation and functioning of the Department of Modern and Contemporary Bulgarian History, the implementation of educational and research activities, as well as the leadership of student scientific initiatives by the department members.
