Резюме:

In the religious systems of ancient Eastern societies, we discover the myth of the eternally dying and rising god who knew death and resurrection, and who became an embodiment of salvation. From a circle of divinities, we can refer to the cults of the gods Osiris, Baal, Tammuz, Attis, Adonis and others. Prima facie, a similar motif can be found in the mythology of the ancient Hittites, particularly in the legend of the god Telipinu – a handsome character who knew death and resurrection, and who subsequently became a symbol of fertility. This raises the question of whether Telipinu is part of the myth of the eternally dying and rising god or not.
