Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the children’s journal „Farche“, a publication of the “Emblema“ association, Dimitrovgrad/Tsaribrod, Serbia, which publishes texts in Bulgarian and Serbian. The focus is on the value plan of the featured works from Bulgarian and Serbian children’s literature. The analysis leads to the conclusion of axiological closeness between the works created in the two Slavic languages to promote moral virtues, children’s creativity and free imagination, and the play and initiative of little girls and boys. Based on the observations made over the flow of the journal „Farche“, the thesis argues that literature can play the role of an intercultural bridge.
