Abstract:

The organization of everyday space for the Chinese who live in Bulgaria is not particularly different from the Bulgarians. The differences between them are mainly in cultural stereotypes. On one side are the physical marks, and on the other are the cultural specifics, such as language, religion, livelihood, food, kinship and kinship nomenclature, customary law, traditions and customs, crafts and arts. In the interaction of migrants with the local environment and society, especially in an urban space, some of these distinctive marks begin to acquire new characteristics, which are the basis of forming a new local identity. The Chinese group is no exception.
